Create a one-of-a-kind quilted jacket with Parchment, the debut pattern for Closet Core Crew. With a gently oversized fit, Parchment features curved raglan seams and a slightly balloon-shaped sleeve, making it the perfect seasonal layering piece.
View A is hip-length with a gently curved hem and angled pockets. View B hits above the knee with a straight hem and curved patch pockets (note that we shortened the pattern after we made samples so it is slightly shorter than pictured on most models). All views can be made with or without an overlapping button placket, and a square or curved neckline edge.

- Outer layer - light to mid-weight woven fabrics such as cotton poplin, lawn, voile, chambray and broadcloth, or linen. Drapey fabrics are not recommended.
- Middle batting layer - quilt batting in cotton, bamboo, or wool.
- Inner layer - same as outer, or choose a smooth faced cotton in a contrast colour or pattern.
Yardage (sizes 0-20) - 45inch / 1.14 m wide
The following yardage is required for each layer of your jacket. ~
VIEW A - HIP LENGTH ~ Sizes 0-8 = 1.75 yd (1.5 m), Sizes 10-14 = 2.25 yd (2 m), Sizes 16-20 = 2.5 yd (2.25 m)
VIEW B - KNEE LENGTH ~ Sizes 0-8 = 2.75 yd (2.5 m), Sizes 10-14 = 3 yd (2.75 m), Sizes 16-20 = 3.5 yd (3.25 m)
Yardage (sizes 0-20) - 58inch / 1.5 m wide

Additional Supplies
- Double fold bias tape, 3/8"–1/2" (10 mm–13 mm) wide. If you are making your own bias tape, you’ll need 1/2–1 yd (0.5–1 m) of fabric. Do not use narrow 3/8" (10 mm) tape for thick quilt sandwiches. See instruction booklet for yardage quantities.
- Optional: Bias tape maker
- Optional: Sew-in snaps or snap buttons, 7 x 1/2–3/4" (12–19 mm).
- Thread in matching colour
- Walking foot - this helps keep layers aligned if you are quilting the fabric

At this time, only sizes 0-20 are available in print format.
