This lining is Warm. It's very thick looking and I thought it might be difficult to sew on my vintage Singer. But it was easy. It flattens readily under the sewing foot. It does slip around and I advise you to keep your hands on it and go slow as you stitch. The wool is covered/wrapped with a thin layer of something ( I think it keeps it together). I wouldn't take it off. And also be careful to use a cooler iron as it will melt a little
I love these fun labels. They give me a smile as I am sewing and keep on giving each time I wear the garment.
I was so happy to see a new dress pattern and this did not disappoint!
It is a great pattern and generally pretty easy if you have sewn a V neck before. What makes it unique is the lovely drape around the top.
Often patterns end up being too big but I chose the size on my measurements and it was spot on. (glad I didn't size down!) Can't wait to make a velvet version!
I bought this fabric intending to make a hoodie with it. Now I have seen it, I realize it is much too thin for that. I’d love to hear your suggestion for an appropriate garment to use this for. I don’t wear dresses so that’s out. Many thanks, Greta
Tariff issue has held up my delivery for a month. The package is stuck in some facility. I know Core fabrics supplies the best products. Tariffs hurt customers in many ways.
I had a similar tool before. It felt flimsy, and when I opened it, the button position indicators were not consistent. This one feels solid, and the distances are consistent. I love it and use it frequently.
