The 14-32 size range is drafted for D cup, with a pear-shaped lower body and an average height of 5'-6".

Cup size = difference between full and high bust (1"=A, 2"=B, 3"=C, 4"=D). If your difference exceeds 4", you may need a full bust adjustment. If your difference is smaller, you may need a small bust adjustment.
Note: even if your numeric size overlaps with the 0-20 range, body measurements are not the same — always size by measurements, not past size.

The Alpha size range (2024 onwards) covers XXS–6X, with an average height of 5'-6".

Spans the same body measurements as the 2023 chart but introduces additional sizes for finer gradation.
Used for all alpha-sized patterns released from 2024 onward.

How to Choose the Right Size Range For You

Since there is some overlap between our two size ranges, you may be wondering which one to choose. The main difference between the two size ranges is that the 14-32 range is drafted for larger busts with a more pear-shaped lower body. If you fall in one of the overlapping sizes, we suggest determining your cup size first by measuring your full bust and high bust and subtracting one from the other. Each inch difference equals one cup size. If you are a D cup or larger, our 14-32 range will ensure the best fit through the bust. If you are an A/B/C cup through the bust and less pear-shaped, the 0-20 range will be the best option.

Beautiful colour and feel.

So fun!

Making the Florence Top from Merchant and Mills (First time making a garment for myself that’s not just a plastic toile from a bedsheet!). Fabric has so far been really easy to work with (so great for a beginner) and the pattern is cute! We grow and eat a lot of garlic so this print felt like a must.

Interesting Community

I enjoy reading the histories of what people have made.

I have not yet sewn any of the pattern releases. The styles are too body-conscious and/or retro for my taste, but the instructional videos offer a lot of information I can take to other projects.

What a great 'club'!

I've been tempted since the first year of Crew to become a member and took the plunge in January this year. It's been such a great 'club' to join! Sewing can be a bit of a solitary hobby but this online community is kind, supportive, helpful and so creative. The patterns are outstanding - clear instructions, impeccably drafted and so much support from the Closet Core team. I'm always inspired, even if I don't have as much time to sew as I'd like.
