I bought this fabric to make heavy weight T-shirts and loved the results. If you are looking for a quality, stable knit this could be the right fabric for you.
This ribbing is nice and thick, matches my main fabric well, and feels substantial in hand.
And the fabric base. I always have my eyes out for Ecovero viscose because it has the best drape without losing the weight and thickness needed for opacity- often in fun prints.
I come back again and again to this interfacing. I am glad Core carries weft interfacing as its one that's harder for me to reliably source. It lends just that bit more structure than the basic pellon lightweight fusible interfacing I can easily get does.
I searched long and hard for an interlining that would be a suitable replacement for thinsulate because I was not enthused about the idea of using first use plastics in my winter coat. I live in the frigid north where its not uncommon to hit -30f/-34C in the winter at least a few time a year so I wanted my winter coat to have an interlining that would DELIVER and this one does! So much so that I would not recommend this for any coat you want to wear outside of winter. Best of all this is not thick and bulky!
