Nous croyons fermement que tout le monde peut coudre n'importe quoi avec de la patience et de la persévérance, mais il est parfois utile de comprendre à quel point un patron sera long ou difficile à coudre. Voici comment nous classons la difficulté de nos patrons :
Débutant (⭑): Convient à un(e) vrai(e) débutant(e), avec des lignes et des détails simples, rapide à coudre et sans fermeture.
Débutant confiant(⭑⭑): Réalisable pour les débutant(e)s qui sont prêts à apprendre une nouvelle compétence, peut inclure plus de caractéristiques de conception et de techniques (c'est-à-dire des fermetures à glissière, des boutons, des parements, etc). Relativement rapide à coudre.
Intermédiaire (⭑⭑⭑): Plus de détails et de lignes de style, peut inclure des détails intéressants comme une braguette à glissière ou des surpiqûres, les projets peuvent prendre plus de 6 heures à coudre.
Avancé (⭑⭑⭑⭑): Encore réalisable par la plupart des personnes, mais les patrons comprennent plus de pièces et de détails, et peuvent prendre plus de 8 heures à coudre.
Difficile (⭑⭑⭑⭑⭑): Projets complexes et exigeants en termes de compétences, tels que la couture et la confection de soutiens-gorge. Là encore, la plupart des personnes peuvent les réaliser, mais il faut se préparer à passer plus de 10 heures sur ce type de projets.

L'ensemble coordonné Adriana deviendra vite votre tenue préférée, idéale pour un look tout-en-un. Composé d'un haut et d'un short parfaitement assortis à la coupe décontractée, il peut se porter comme un ensemble coordonné, ou séparément, ou même comme un pyjama pour les beaux jours. Le haut Adriana est une version épurée de la chemise d'été, dotée d'un col cubain classique, d'un empiècement dans le dos et d'un pli creux, ainsi que de manches courtes intégrées et rehaussées d'une simple parementure. Le short présente une taille haute, avec bande de taille intégrée, des poches incurvées au niveau des hanches, ainsi que des ourlets agrémentés de fentes sur les coutures latérales et de parementures.
Tissus tissés légers à mi-lourds, non extensibles. Pour un rendu plus structuré, optez pour du coton popeline, du lin, de la double gaze, du seersucker, du chambray, de l'oxford, du broadcloth ou du lin.
Pour un effet plus doux, essayez la viscose, le tencel, la soie ou la voile.
I quite often print off my patterns and putting them together is an early indicator they may not be great !! But even the matching and putting together was perfect ! So good , I signed up for the annual crew !!!

Adriana Matching Set
I got a bit confused initially by the borderless pattern. But I have almost finished the shorts which I intend to use as pyjamas on a forthcoming trip to Madrid. I am going to hem the bottom edge rather than topstitching. I made the pockets out of contrasting fabric (as I don't have much of the intended fabric) and that might have been a mistake as I didn't realise how much would be 'on show' (assuming I have got things right). But I think it will look OK once the waistband is done.

Amazing plus size collection
I have made patterns from closet core before, but recently joined the Crew and there are so many wonderful patterns in the collection and they are all also graded for plus sizes which is fantastic. Can absolutely recommend, have been sewing lots of different patterns over the last weeks.

Love the Adriana Matching Set!
This set needed no adjustments what so ever (it is very roomy) to get the look intended. However, I should have added 1" - 2" to the length of the shirt because of my long torso. This will be my summer pizza party staple. I only used 2m of fabric for both pieces except for the inside yoke where I had to use a scrap plain cotton. Instructions were excellent. I fumbled a bit with the sleeve facing but got there in the end.
Making the Florence Top from Merchant and Mills (First time making a garment for myself that’s not just a plastic toile from a bedsheet!). Fabric has so far been really easy to work with (so great for a beginner) and the pattern is cute! We grow and eat a lot of garlic so this print felt like a must.
The last time I sewed with knit fabric was over 20 years ago; total disaster. When I saw the CC class, I immediately signed up. Loved every second; clear, precise instructions. I am so proud of my long sleeved t-shirt, I just ordered enough Luxe Organic Cotton Jersey Knit for four more in different colors.

I have not yet sewn any of the pattern releases. The styles are too body-conscious and/or retro for my taste, but the instructional videos offer a lot of information I can take to other projects.
I've been tempted since the first year of Crew to become a member and took the plunge in January this year. It's been such a great 'club' to join! Sewing can be a bit of a solitary hobby but this online community is kind, supportive, helpful and so creative. The patterns are outstanding - clear instructions, impeccably drafted and so much support from the Closet Core team. I'm always inspired, even if I don't have as much time to sew as I'd like. I wish I'd signed up earlier!
This was my first purchase with you, and I will definitely be back for more. The ease of purchase, detail of instructions, and accuracy of the fit turned me into a huge fan. Can't wait for my next make (after I sew a second one of these dresses!)
