I finally replaced my old janky rotary cutter and am so glad I did. I think I might be an LDH convert now!
Why did it take me so long to get a pair of scissors like this?! These are perfect for grading seams!
These scissors are perfection! They cut like a dream and make me feel extra fancy while using them.
It's very beautiful and vibrant and a soft, comfortable feel. I have not sewn anything with it yet...but I definitely plan to make a button up for sure. It is see through, like if you use this fabric to make a top you would have to wear something under it( specially if the light hits you) but I don't mind I actually like wearing thin cami tops under my button ups. But this fabric is perfect for a colorful,fun summer garment...or spring too. I love the colors !!!
The thread gloss smells nice but it is a hard wax and when I apply it, I have to use quite a bit. Sometimes it needs a bit more for the threads to stick together, but the issue with that is that it gets held up in the stitch and the wax then accumulates where the needle pierced the fabric as you pull the thread, which is annoying. Perhaps I may not be using it correctly,but I don't reach for it much for to the above mentioned reasons.
