Let me start by saying that this is a high-quality fabric. For me though, I prefer a thinner, drapier fabric like a merino wool jersey for finished garments. I used this fabric for a wearable test t-shirt for my adult daughter. Ultimately, when the fit is perfected, I'll make the t-shirt in a merino wool jersey. This fabric is fairly thick, "foldable" (but not "drapey,") breathes pretty well, and washes/dries nicely (without excessive shrinkage or wrinkling). It sews up easily on a regular sewing machine with a ballpoint needle (I don't own a serger). It is an excellent budget-friendly option for testing knit garment patterns.
