Frequently Asked Questions
I was so happy I found this! I have experience sewing but I’m not very polished. I was looking for a denim tutorial for awhile because I have been wanting to rework some thrifted men’s denim Wrangler/Levis. I was able to successfully rework them to my size and they fit great! Couldn’t have done it without this tutorial!
I did feel like running out to show everyone I made jeans ! this course is so worth it. I watched each video many times. Everything is very well explained. I learned many new tricks. I have been sewing for many years but did very few pairs of pants because I didn't think I could get the fitting right. That course changed all that, It made me confident I can do the adjustments and get right fit. I really liked the explanations on how to try on and examine the lines, what is ok and what can be fixed. I am really proud of my Ginger jeans and I am looking forward to making the Morgan.
I have not actually made these jeans yet but have watched the videos. The videos were very professionally done. I love video courses so I can watch over again when needed. I am waiting for the size upgrade to make these jeans.
These are the first jeans I have ever had in my life that fit. I am a mid level sewer and just followed each step slowly. My friend took the course in Oregon and I was admiring her jeans. She is not advanced at all and her looked great. She assured me it was doable. As I am not a huge fan of classrooms I was thrilled to just buy the class on line. I recently finished my second pair in black denim and grey top stitching. I loved Wawak for thread and buy my fabric from fabricmart.com People say home sewing is not cheaper than buy, but in this case I disagree as I would have to pay for an expensive pair and alterations to come close to what I made.
