Beautiful deep colors and a lovely mid-weight. I’m starting with the olive this week ❤️. It’s such a treat to work with such wonderful quality fabric.
Used the Pietra Shorts Pattern for a recent cosplay project. Fabric pictured is a polyester twill. The pattern was super easy to put together and use. I didn't like how low the rise of the short started but it was easily altered into a mini skirt for the look I desired. Giving this pattern 5 stars for the wonderful functional pockets and for being apart of the cosplay I earned an award for. Definitely intend to use this pattern again!
It is pure pleasure to deal with Closet Core (and Crew) - when I meet someone who is thinking about getting back into sewing, I say ‘do you know about Closet Core’ - then I pull out my phone and who them pictures and the blog and Insta - and get them all pumped up. I get glory for your wonderful work . . .and they get the joy of creating and waking up that part of themselves that loves to make . . . It’s so cool.
Loved this free pattern, only dropped front neckline by 1 in. Will keep the pattern and sew it again
Core Fabrics’ Midweight European linen is one of my favorite fabrics. I have used it for pants, tops, and linen napkins. It washes well and stays on grain. The off-white color leans slightly yellow but otherwise, a true off-white.
This pattern sewed up beautifully and I can see quite a few more in my future..!
