I am a longtime sewist and have never owned duckbilled scissors before. I have good scissors and snips and figured these would just be more clutter in the sewing room. Boy was I wrong! I got these as a gift through the reward program and I couldn’t be more thrilled. They are super sharp and make trimming seams and layering so much easier and faster.
I’m thrilled with the jackets I made from this pattern! Checkered version was my test fit, which worked out well. Black jacket is for great for work, with the surprise rainbow lining (sewn as one piece with main fabric).
The colour of the fabric was so vibrant on the website I was skeptical at was was going to show up but it was even more beautiful! The fabric is high quality and has weight to it without being too heavy. Bonus, it shipped fast in a secure and cute packaging! I absolutely love your brand!
