Incredibly enjoyable and empowering!I had been eyeing off the Jasika Blazer many years before I jumped in and signed up for the online class!! My only regret is waiting so long! Heather explains the steps in a clear and easy to understand manner - while remaining highly encouraging and enthusiastic the whole way! The pattern is drafted beautifully - and the online course is clear and well filmed which makes the entire process so rewarding! I know I will be making another beautiful blazer - after such a successful first toile and then blazer.

I can honestly say that this is my proudest make to date! I've been sewing since I was a about 8 so that's quite a statement.I have done some tailoring before - welt pockets and the like but this was the first time I have made a blazer using wool. The wool I chose was quite thick and that itself caused me to panic but I loved the way Heather Lou reassured me about fabric choice. This course is like sewing along with a friend. She guides you through every stage and you can submit questions and comments along the way. Her attention to detail is fantastic and I think that the tips really helped me sew with great care and precision. All of this equals a great product. Thanks to all involved in creating this resource. I would highly recommend it anyone who is interested in upping their sewing game.

Wonderful Classic Pattern. Really enjoyed making this. The pattern is so well drafted. The tailoring kit was convenient and easier than tracking down all the bits and pieces. I also bought the (“video”) class which was very detailed and had lots of excellent tips. I’ve since revisited the video to apply tops to other makes.
