We offer discounted digital pattern licenses to our Wholesale customers for in-person sewing classes and fabric kits. Our verified wholesalers can purchase all Closet Core and Deer & Doe patterns at 50% off the listed retail price for minimum orders of 6 or more digital licenses; with this license, you can both print digital files for in-person classes AND offer a “forever” digital pattern link  to your customers through our website. Please note that digital licensing is not available for Crew patterns.

How does it work?

Offering digital licenses allows our wholesalers to access ALL our patterns, including those that are out-of-print or available in PDF-only extended sizing. While you are permitted to print patterns and instructions for your students with the purchase of our digital licenses, we can also give them digital access through our website so they can access the selected pattern in the future.

To do so, we will email your customer using the address you provide with directions on how to access the pattern file. The email will include a discount code for 100% off the selected pattern. When they checkout on our site, the pattern will be added to their new account, giving them forever access to it. The benefit of this system is that they get access to all size ranges and languages available for the pattern, and since they are being added to our system, they will be notified by email when any major change has been made to the pattern (ie. when errata is fixed or size expansions are added to the pattern).

How to submit an order for a digital pattern license:

Once you know how many licenses you’ll need and the email addresses of your customers, contact our support team via email with the following information:

• Total number of licenses needed
• Email addresses and names of all customers in a CSV document
• Date you want digital files distributed
• Whether or not you need a copy of the pattern to print for your students. Please note your name and email address will be visibly added to each page of the digital file. You may print this pattern for students, but it must match the number of licenses you have purchased.

We will create a manual order for you based on the number of digital licenses you ordered. If you require a digital copy so you can print and prepare patterns for students, we will provide it. Once the order is finalized, we will send an automated email to all your students/customers on the requested date with directions on how to access their digital file on our website.

If you would just like to purchase digital licenses but don’t want us emailing students with access to their digital files, simply let us know; this is optional.

• All orders are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges unless a mistake was made during order fulfillment.

• Our patterns are printed in the United States; the patterns themselves are printed on tissue paper, and include a bound B&W instruction booklet. The cover envelope features full-colour fashion illustrations of each design option.
• All paper patterns include a barcode to simplify inventory tracking. 

• All orders are shipped via UPS or Fedex Ground and shipping is charged at checkout. If you would like us to use your own shipping account please reach out to our support email.
• Shipments are prepared and sent out 3 days a week, and take 2-4 days to process once your order is placed.
• International orders may be subject to customs and taxes; all additional charges are the responsibility of the customer.
