I learned a lot of new techniques (the videos and explanations are very clear and helpful), bought some life-changing notions (Hello, Zerkel magnetic pin cushion!), and have new confidence and joy in sewing. My Mitchell Trousers fit well, and I am very pleased with them. I really appreciate that Heather included her mistakes, which helped me to reduce my perfectionist tendencies. I sewed the Ginny Jeans with the help of this workshop and it was really very helpful and filled with information. Now I'm able to sew my own jeans! Being tall and curvy that means I finally have jeans that are big enough and I never again have to suffer in the changing room of a clothes store. What a great feeling! So thanks for this very good workshop. I'm going to do another jeans sewing pattern I already have for denim without stretch next.
So many things to love about this pattern. The design details, the clear instructions, a generous hem, the size range and the 1.5mm/ 5/8” seam allowance which enabled French seams and flat felled seams - if you wish. A versatile pattern that could be used in multiple ways. Highly recommended.
I’m really pleased with the fit of this blouse. The darts give subtle shaping without being clingy, the V-neck isn’t too wide, the sleeve cuffs are loose enough that you can lift your arm without your sleeve getting stuck at your elbow, the length works tucked in or loose, and the collar installed beautifully.
Taille bien et pas trop compliqué à réaliser si on prend le temps de faire étape par étape. Ne pas prendre un lainage trop épais pour réaliser correctement la finition des poches
Excellent trouser tutorial that has just the right amount of information (lots) and goes deep but without assumptions.
I am only half way through but love it.
