I am highly impressed with this course and recommend it to both beginners and advanced sewists. I have been sewing knits for sometime and not always with the greatest success mostly due to not choosing the right knit or sizing for the pattern. In this class, I picked up so many valuable tips and techniques, learned new things especially around fiber composition, weight, and stretch. I also really enjoyed the sewing demonstrations in the construction and finishing of three Amelie t-shirts using different knit fabrics, necklines and trouble shooting any issues. Knowing how to sew the bound and band neckline methods is a huge bonus and I am very excited to make the Amelie T-Shirt using those techniques. Lastly, I can't say enough about Heather's teaching style which is very thorough, clear, and hands-on, but also highly positive and practical which creates a very fun and interesting class. Overall, a great class and instructor.
Love this pattern idea. I am always trying to find the best pattern and adjusting the fit. The only concern is that a quality t-shirt has matching ribbing. Ribbing is key.

This is the perfect blazer to get that black blazer, white tee, jeans, and penny loafer look Julia Roberts wore at the end of Pretty Woman. I dropped everything to make this blazer when the pattern dropped. It’s not a quick sew, but so worth the time to get the look. I’m in love. 😍
Pretty fabric but I had issue with very visible white snags happening after simple seam ripping. I will not be wearing the garment I made because of this issue. Only buy it if you won’t make any mistakes!
the fabric is gorgeous. I thought I had decided on a pattern, now im undecided.
I didn’t quite know what to expect with this class. I had taken another jeans class online a couple years ago, and was not impressed. However this class was fantastic! A lot of that comes from the enthusiasm, and high teaching knowledge. I highly recommend taking it. I haven't gotten to sew the jeans yet, but I am getting close to starting. I will go back to watch different sections as I need them.
