Great free boxy tee

I made the long sleeved version to wear as a pyjama top and it worked well. Loved the pocket detail and the clear instructions. Will be making the cropped short sleeved version soon.

Great little freebie

First one made for hubby, likes it so much he’s keeping it for best! Second was a little hack, really helped me get confidence with t shirt fabric
Thanks so much

Daughter Loved It!

I made the short-sleeved semi-cropped Core t-shirt for me because I was feeling pretty hip (in theory). But when it was complete, I decided I wasn't that hip after all. But my college-age daughter thought it was swell and promptly adopted it. I recently started sewing a lot more garments and she is super-impressed that I can sew something that looks...good. Ha ha. Sorry no pics--the shirt is away at school with the daughter--used a heather gray cotton jersey from my stash. Anyway, this was my first Closet Core Pattern and it was a great experience. I have my eye on Elodie or Pietra pants for next project.

Very nice pattern!

I like this pattern very much. It is very well-drafted and easy to make. I made it up quickly in a cotton knit just to see how it would fit, and I was very pleased. I added about 3" to the length (personal preference) but made no other adjustments. It fit perfectly (not always the case with me and inset sleeves!) so I know there will be more of these in my future. Thanks so much for this great pattern! And the price was perfect, too.

Terrific cut

I made my first knit T-shirts from this pattern. The directions are wonderful. On the first, I extended the shoulder and made the armscye a little deeper, based on an old H&M shirt. It was perfect. The second one I made using a size 8 and cut the sleeves and shoulders exactly as the pattern was designed. The knit was quite firm and the result was too tight for my taste. I added a strip of knit at the side seams and underarm. Next time, I will cut a 10. I wear a small in RTW high-end clothes and medium in budget clothes. Size 8 in US RTW.
