Products are as ordered. Timeline for local pick up was longer than expected, but it was after a sale event.
The fabric is a little thinner than anticipated, but will make a fine summer dress. It will not be so gauzy that I would need a slip. The pattern was also larger than I expected but that is probably from my lack of experience buying on line. This is the first time I have done so and I was glad with the fabrics I received. Thank you.
The mushroom print is super cute and the fabric feels really nice. I’m using it as a lining for a fall coat and can’t wait to get it sewn up.
I’ve made three so far. It’s a perfect fit and I’m sure I’ll be making more. I made the low rise straight leg.
Large Stripe Cotton Shirting - Sky + White
I had taken other online classes for knits and still didn't feel comfortable and confident making a knit t-shirt. I combined the knit and serger/cover stitch classes and oh wow. I was able to complete the Amelie T-Shirt and it turned out fantastic. I can actually wear it. Amazing. I was able to come back and watch the parts of the video I needed help with (tying off the cover stitch) and other help when I needed it. I loved these two classes together, it made it easy and enjoyable.
Heather also has a way of making me feel human, she points out errors and when things didn't go as planned when filming, it is comforting to know, it happens to the professionals too.
Looking forward to making more t-shirts, using my Serger/Cover stitch and taking more classes from Closet Core.
