I was always intimidated to sew this type of garment. Watching the videos has really calmed my nerves.
What is the anvil with the raised part used for? I read the tutorial mentioned here and it doesn't use it. This photo shows my understanding of how each tool is used. (and I believe the photo shows an old version of a tool included)

I found that the instructions are not clear. It’s great if you know how to do it without needing details, but for someone who hasn’t done something similar, it’s hard to navigate the instructions.
