Great price for.genuine cupro lining. Great quality and excellent value.
I am enjoying the sewing class as I am learning a lot of good habits. As someone who has sewn on and off for many years I have some unhelpful habits that I am learning to change. My sewing area is very cluttered. I think that's an understatement. Doing the course has motivated me to tidy and reorganise my sewing space. Each session is just the right length. I take a lot of notes to refer to later. There is a lot of information so I need to pace myself with the lessons so I have time to let the information sink in. I like that I can look back on the lessons as needed. I am looking forward to making my first garment using a pdf pattern and making something that fits me.
This lining is Warm. It's very thick looking and I thought it might be difficult to sew on my vintage Singer. But it was easy. It flattens readily under the sewing foot. It does slip around and I advise you to keep your hands on it and go slow as you stitch. The wool is covered/wrapped with a thin layer of something ( I think it keeps it together). I wouldn't take it off. And also be careful to use a cooler iron as it will melt a little
I love these fun labels. They give me a smile as I am sewing and keep on giving each time I wear the garment.
I made one pair for my daughter, and one for my granddaughter, both were made in a flannel fabric. Both with piping. The pattern was easy for me to sew, except for the collar. I just went ahead and made it in my own way, and they turned out really nice. Today, I'm making a set for myself!
