Great instructions, beautiful silhouette. Works with large-scale fabric motifs due to the design of the pieces. I've already made up two and constantly get compliments.
I’m in the process of sewing the Jasika Blazer and am very pleased with how it is coming together. I made two small adjustments based on a muslin. The fitting ebook was very helpful. The tutorial along with the printed instructions are excellent. I’m using a charcoal midweight cotton twill with a Cupro lining both purchased from Core Fabrics. Actually can’t wait to finish this one and start another!
I have made this twice, once as short pajamas and once as long, both with piping. As with all the Closet Core patterns I have used, it is well drafted, with clear instructions. Altogether a very enjoyable sew. I would recommend the excellent online tutorial for sewing the collar and front facing which is the only tricky part of the construction.
I love this pattern! Not too many pieces and easy to cut out. Forgiving of small flaws since it's a bit oversized. Lengthened the torso a few inches. Good with high waisted pants or shorts. I have made the short sleeved version 3 times and now I am ready to try the longer sleeved version!
I love this website, the "models" are very appealing, each in their own ways. Much more relatable than most envelope patterns. Appreciate that. Thanks for the wonderful free pattern.
This is such a fantastic membership - the patterns are outstanding, the community supportive and the pattern fitting support worth the cost of membership alone. I love the themes of Crew membership and it's been helpful in building an intentional wardrobe. I have a goal each month to sew the gorgeous Core Crew patterns slowly and I am thrilled with the results (and my capsule wardrobe).
