I used the black Tree Bark fabric to make a Sew House Seven Toaster sweater, view #1. It turned out very nice; I am looking forward to wearing it when the weather cools down. The fabric has a nice weight and drape, and is soft and comfortable to wear.
I have been looking for fabric exactly like this for quite awhile after seeing some similar tops online. This is exactly what I have been searching for, and the quality is amazing. Core fabrics never disappoints.
Great fabric. Easy to work with. Sewed up a nice shirt. Perfect for what I needed.
I made a classic button down shirt with long sleeves. Fabric was very easy to work with. Shirt sewed up beautifully. Always happy with Core Fabrics!
I made a funnel-neck tunic (Simplicity 8529) with the brown Tree Bark fabric. At first I was somewhat dismayed that the horizontal courses aren't actually horizontal, but run askew at an angle. It's worse on one side. If this had been an obvious striped fabric it would have been unacceptable, but the speckle design has a random look so it isn't noticeable unless you're looking for it. Having said that, my finished garment looks very nice. The fabric has a nice drape and is very soft and comfortable to wear.
This fabric is lovely, it really is a beautiful crisp poplin. I put it in the washer and dryer, it sewed up beautifully and feels great to wear. Added bonus, as a bike commuter, I can pull it out of my bag when I get to work and it hasn’t gone all wrinkled. There is more of this fabric in my future!
