I made this pattern in a solid poplin. Size 10 fit well, had to shorten the skirt several inches, my height is 5’0”. I reduced the seam allowance through the midriff section to 1/2” from 5/8” and that gave me the perfect amount of ease. This is a lovely dress to wear for many occasions. I’m already planning another one, maybe in linen for next summer!
I was really stoked to make these shorts and carefully measured my hips and true waist to get the correct size. The pattern specs said I’d be a 12 which seemed weird (and I measured again and checked again as I’m normally more a 6-8) but I went ahead and trusted the process. I finished the shorts last week and sure enough they’re too big. I’ll get back around to resizing at some point but with no confidence in the size chart I’m hesitant. 😕
