GET BIANCAI have made 3 of the blouses so far in different fabrics and they have all came out great. I found there is a lot of wearing ease built into the design, so I did size down from my usual closet core size of 16, to 14, based on garment measurements. With some careful placement I was able to create 2 of the blouses (with short sleeves) with less than 1.5m of fabric! I am so happy to find a pattern that I can use to get rid of the remnants I have in my stash, that isn't some sort of tank top. As always the instructions are clear and detailed. I will be making the full dress next!
I own and love a lot of Deer and Doe patterns and the Magnolia didn't disappoint. I made view B maxi length in a light silk satin for a wedding. It's was easy to make and easier to fit. The instructions, as always, were clear and well illustrated. I have a few more Magnolia dresses planned in cotton lawn.
It's a perfect pattern for a beginner, and it's free. What more could you wish for?
This was my first time using a pattern to make an item of clothing. It went great! Now for figuring out how to install a zipper!
Well written instructions. Great pattern. Was pleased with the results
Fait le Fumeterre avec une ramie assez lourde, et le résultat est particulièrement monumental! J'ai une adaptation à mi-mollet dans mon planning.
