As you may have heard, the Trump administration has introduced a 25% tariff on goods from Canada, effective as of March 4th 2025. While we are a Canadian business, our products are exempt for the following reasons:

1. This tariff only applies to imported physical products, so our digital products (i.e. PDF patterns, Crew memberships and online classes) will remain tariff-free.
2. Our print patterns are produced in the US, so they are not subject to tariff or duty charges through US customs.
3. As of now, de minimis shipments (any shipment valued under $800 USD) remain exempt from these tariffs. "De minimis" is a legal term meaning "too small to be considered." It allows businesses outside the US to ship packages valued up to $800 USD to American customers without incurring duties.  While this may change in the future, for now all orders under $800 USD will be exempt.

In short, you can feel confident ordering from our shop, as no tariffs will be collected on your order.
