Gorgeous fabric, and the perfect weight for hoodies and sweatshirts!
This was for my daughter for Christmas. She was excited to receive it and said she now had no excuses for not tackling buttonholes!
The beautiful fabric, the color, the strechtable it is very nice. I am very happy and I will do business with you again. Merci, je suis très satisfaite.
Gorgeous knitwear fabric! Soft and with great drape. Thanks!
These are always welk drafted patterns with good instructions
This may be a “me” problem as I am an experienced sewist but new to the PDF pattern game. I recently visited your blog and was advised to use newsprint paper to print the pattern and I will do that for my next project. My issue with the Opium coat was with the side pockets not laying right and the printer paper was not helping as it is too stiff and my markings were slightly off. I am still frustrated with the PDF patterns in general. The taping of the pages leaves some margin of error for me. I made the muslin of the coat but did not continue to making it out of fabric.
I have made 2 Phoebe coats which have turned out very well but I used the paper pattern. Any advice you would have would be great. I LOVE Closet Core and have made about 6 Jusika blazers. Your classes are fantastic !
Hi Rochelle,
Thank you so much for your feedback and for being such a loyal customer! We're thrilled you've made 6 Jasika blazers and 2 Phoebe coats.
I hear your frustration with PDF taping. Here are a few tips that might help:
For better taping accuracy:
- Trim margins with a rotary cutter before taping for clean edges
- Use newsprint or medical paper instead of printer paper for easier draping
For the Opium pockets:
If your markings were off due to taping misalignment, that would definitely affect pocket placement. Precise registration mark alignment is key for matching pieces.
Skip taping altogether:
Consider having PDFs printed on large-format paper (A0) at a copyshop. Our sister brand Core Fabrics offers this service: https://corefabricstore.com/products/pattern-printing-app
Hope this helps for your next PDF project! Feel free to reach out if you need more guidance.
Best regards,
Sylvie
