To accompany our Jasika Blazer pattern, we have created an exclusive tailoring kit that includes all the unique interfacing and supplies needed to make a gorgeous, speed tailored jacket or blazer! Save time gathering your supplies and get everything you need in one place (fabric not included).

We have sourced the highest quality materials for this kit. Our fusible interfacings are milled in Italy and specifically designed for tailoring applications, while our sleeveheads and shoulder pads are manufactured in Montreal, Canada. Choose between black or white for your kit; black works for most applications but white is suggested if you are working with light-colored, thin fabrics like linen.

Please note: Our interfacings do not need to be pre-treated; pre-treating them may affect the quality of the adhesive.

Included in the kit:

  • Fusible weft interfacing - 1.4m / 1.5 yds (available in black or white)
  • Fusible knit interfacing - .9m / 1 yd (available in black or white)
  • Horsehair canvas - 20" x 12"
  • One pair of sleeveheads (available in black or white)
  • One pair of industry quality shoulder pads - 3/8" thick (light grey)
  • Cotton stay tape - 2.5 yds

    Great service

I’ve not yet used my tailoring kit as I’m working my way up to making the Jasika blazer. As the white kits were out of stock I requested to be notified when they were back in stock. Email received; online order placed and timely shipped. Now to improve my skill set a bit more before I tackle this project.

    As expected

I purchased the kit as it's hard to source quality tailoring supplies locally. I expected the quality I used in design school and that's what arrived. In a nice muslin bag, just what I need to help me get to work on my blazer. Thanks!

This is my second tailoring kit. I made a Jasika blazar with the first kit and was so impressed with the quality of the interfacing and other items, I ordered another one. My pattern and fabric are already set aside for a Fall blazar. Thank you for the wonderful sew along. It gave me the added confidence to tackle a long time goal and having everything available in a kit was so convenient.

    Excellent products and great advice

I used the tailoring supplies to make a winter coat. The sleeve head and shoulder pad make the sleeves of the coat look professional. I love this website for the great products and helpful advice as well as free patterns. I made the server and sewing machine cover as well as the pouf from the free patterns and they turned out really well.

    Making the Jasika Blazer

Making the Jasika Blazer was the best sewing experience I have had. I highly recommend both the course and the tailoring package. My blazer would not be the garment it is if I had tried it without Heather Lou's detailed tutorials. And I loved the fact that it was true tailoring with all the couture details. Nothing missed. With this piece in my wardrobe, I now have the confidence to tackle a pair of jeans!

    Worth buying!

I bought this kit during one of the annual sales because I didn't want to search all over for all the blazer supplies (figured making it would be work enough). And I'm really happy with that decision! Everything is included and there's plenty of it. My only critique was that it took me a few minutes to figure out which interfacing was which so it would've been helpful if that was labeled.
