Easy to sew and feels incredibly luxurious to wear. I use this for lining everything - jackets, dresses - big advantage is that there is never any static cling.
Gorgeous color, gorgeous fabric, easy to handle. Made a lovely fake Doen dress which came out great!
This is beautiful fabric, very high quality. The color is great. It’s important to note that the weave is extremely tight, which gives the fabric a beautiful taffeta-like quality, but which makes it extremely difficult to handle. With a sharp new needle it sees on the machine just fine, but it is very hard to hand sew. I bent several pins, broke a couple of needles and ended up having to purchase some super fine, super sharp Japanese needles in order just to baste it. So if you are a beginner, choose the lighter poplin instead. This is not for the faint of heart!
I really like the kits as they contain what I need when making a jacket. I first used a kit for the Jasika jacket I made with the class. I find it has all the right components needed when making other jackets. I’m glad it’s available to me through Corey fabrics.
