Plus Size Sewing Patterns

I made this for my daughter’s convocation. It was perfect! She loved it. I highly recommend the video instructions as they contain lots of suggestions for high quality finishes that aren’t in the written instructions. Written instructions are my preference so I wish they had the same detail as the video (thus the 4 stars). Thanks for a great pattern!

Le patron Émile Barrel Pants est très bien expliqué et vraiment agréable à coudre. Les deux versions, barrel ou standard, offrent une belle polyvalence. J’ai déjà réalisé deux paires en coupe barrel, et je prévois d’en faire d’autres cette saison. C’est un modèle passe‑partout qui peut être porté en mode décontracté ou plus habillé selon l’agencement. Une valeur sûre pour la garde‑robe.

A lovely surprise

It took me a while to find the space to sew up the Pietra pants but when I did I sewed two pairs in a row and will definitely be making more. I love the look and feel of them on me. The instructions were clear, helpful and held my hand nicely especially when working on the pockets. I did need to shorten the elastic just a half inch to suit my figure but that was the only adjustment I made. I used Japanese cotton fabric for both and sewed a size 10.

Love this shirt and pattern!

This is only my second garment, and while this pattern had lots of components, I found the instructions to be very clear and precise with excellent drawings that made construction pretty straightforward. Would definitely choose another closet core pattern!
