Plus Size Sewing Patterns

I made the Nicks dress a few years ago and loved it. I want to make a skirt and blouse similar to the Nicks dress for more flexibility with this fabric. It is perfect for this project.

Light yet luxurious

This is becoming a go-to fabric for me: it's so smooth and light, but it holds its shape and presses beautifully. I've made a Jenna shirt and a Zelda skirt, and both turned out gorgeous!

Beautiful fabric

The fabric is beautiful. Very soft and smooth. Will make a very nice layer. I haven’t used it yet, but plan to make a pull over hoodie.

Fabulous T-shirt

Honestly, this is my favourite t shirt pattern ever and it’s free, thank you so much closet core I love all of your patterns they are easy to sew and the results are fab 😊

Marble shell top

The marble shell top is beautiful, once made up. I found the pattern slightly difficult, even though I’ve been sewing on and off for years. It would be useful to provide instructions on how much material is needed for each piece (since there are three colours). I measured each piece once I’d had the pattern printed. I found the armholes slightly difficult. I used viscose, but I feel that the interfacing wasn’t necessary for that part of the garment. Also the back part attachment to the sides was not easy and I had to quick unpick a couple of times. I’m very happy with the final result, but I wouldn’t classify the pattern level as « confirmed beginner ». I think it was more difficult than that. It was my first pattern at Closet Core, so I’ll see with the next pattern I try!
