I’m a new sewist, and I’ve picked this pattern for my first big project. I’m doing it in a take your own pattern and material class, so I’m confident it will come out well. Once I’ve made it once, it will be a piece of cake!
Heather Lou is a wonderful teacher and she doesn’t disappoint in this pants class. I have purchased all of her classes and I am a member of Core Crew, so I am a big fan for sure. If you are wanting to sew a fabulous pair of pants with all the bells and whistles (front slash pockets, welt back pockets, pleats, wide or tapered leg, side buckles) this class is for you. She breaks down each step in very doable steps and shows exactly how to do each move. You can even slow down the video if you need to get a closer and slower look at how she does her magic. I highly recommend this (and all) her Closet Core sewing videos!
This class was better than an in person beginner sewing class I tried previously! It's so worth it. I had very little sewing knowledge and didn't really know where to start, but this was absolutely the jumpstart I needed.
